It is AFACT.
American Farmers for the Advancement and Conservation of Technology (AFACT) was organized by farmers frustrated by the loss of safe and valuable management tools with no scientific justification and no economic compensation.
As the organization’s name implies, AFACT is dedicated to conserving existing safe management practices and supporting the advancement of new technologies with collaborative ties to all commodity segments and allied industries.
AFACT Vision
To provide the consumer safe, wholesome and nutritious food at a good value as well as factual and truthful information regarding the advances in modern agriculture.
AFACT Mission
- Provide consumers safe, valuable and wholesome food products.
- Safeguard the image of modern agriculture products in the market place.
- Support advancements in modern agriculture that would benefit food production both domestically and internationally.
- Educate all in the food chain that “sustainable” agriculture utilizes advancements in modern agriculture to produce safe, nutritious and affordable foods that meet social, environmental and economical responsibilities.

Organization and Leadership
Still in its infancy, AFACT is a team driven by producer volunteers from across the U.S., and led by co-chairs Carrol Campbell, a dairy producer from Kansas, and Liz Doornink, a dairy producer from Wisconsin.
Six key tactical teams (committees) have been established to date to guide the organization's activities, and producers are invited to learn more by signing up to receive updates and information from AFACT. Email us at information@itisafact.org to sign up.
